Incase We Crash 'No Education' EP - Review

Toronto based pop-punk band Incase We Crash consisted of vocalist/guitarist Simon Austin, drummer Tyler Twigger and bassist Antony Lena, are about to be the next big thing in the pop-punk scene. A year after releasing their debut EP titled 'Constantly Changing' the boys are back with their newest EP 'No Education'. Despite the band losing a member in the span of that year, 'No Education' really shows the progression of not just their musical abilities but also their lyrical abilities. You can hear the hard work that went into the recording process as it was a huge payoff!

Longtime fans of Incase We Crash will know about a song called 'Straight To The Head'. With this new EP the pop-punkers recorded a new version appropriately titled 'Straight 2 The Head' in order to give the song a new life which once again shows the band's evolvement with a more upbeat guitar intro which leads into a catchy chorus that will most definitely be stuck in the listeners head.

Songs like 'I Threw My Books Into the Ocean' showcase a very different sound than what fans are used to with more synth/electronic music behind it and a slower melody but it adds a nice contrast from the faster songs we all enjoy.

Many can say that the pop-punk genre can all begin to sound the same, but Incase We Crash put their own little twist on the genre which entailed a wonderfully crafted EP that should be heard by everybody, anywhere. Whereas other bands usually get their rise to fame after releasing a debut full'-length album, the 'No Education' EP is definitely going to be the one that will garner a bigger fanbase for Incase We Crash which the fully deserve. 'No Education' is an EP all fans of pop-punk will enjoy and if you are someone who is into more "underground" bands, then they are the band for you!
